SUMMER INTERNSHIP

Denizens of Aegis,

Yep so here is another update about my real life, cause I know how you guys love to hear about it, lol. Anyway I leave for my summer internship tomorrow evening and I am unsure as to the status of the net access down there. I won't be nearly as busy as I was here and I will get a lot of on the job experience and training. I was fortunate enough to be chosen by one of the past alumni of my school to work as an apprentice for the summer and as such will be leaning the ropes of located work. I will post, PM, IM, e-mail, or something as soon as I get a chance to let everyone know. If something should happen that I have no net access I will get word to someone. I will be there fore approx. 2 months before the next year starts. Well I guess that is about it. If anyone has an questions just reply or PM me.

UPDATE: I am here and settled. I have Net access at work and therefore, obviously, the opportunity to check-up on you guys and post replies. The first week will be a bit slow since I am still working on a project and a paper but I might even get a chance to open my IM some time after. The guy down the hill from the house I am staying at has wireless. As soon as I see him outside I plan on offering to pay him for half his Net bill for the next two months so I can have access at the house lol, I must be addicted to Aegis. Anyway I hope to post more soon, later.

I have been slow in replying to you, I work many summer hours and sometimes it can be complicated to get online. Excellent news on the internship, I wish you all the best and shall strive to post more to our storyline in F'tallian.

Murphy's Law has been proven once again. My Vehicle ('94 Ford Explorer for any of you car people) needs front left and right Radius Arm Bushings, a right front Wheel Bearing Assembly, and a new Transmission. This is after I had alreadt replaced all the brake-lines, my rear-left Caliper, and my Transmission Filter. Since it is the case that these repairs cost more than I originally paid for the vehicle it has offically been dubbed, by me, to be worth more as a trade-in than to repair it.

Some may ask, "Yes Mycheal's Typist it sounds as though you are in quite a spot, yet what does this have to do with us?" And of course I would reply with: Thank you for asking. As a matter of fact, quite little. However as you may have noticed my assurance that I would still be able to check-up on the forums regularly did not turn out according to plan. I walk most of where I go now which limits mobility to a necessity of priority (no I am not lazy, just a lot to get done and about a mile or so to the Library).

I have made you set through this entire post to simply say this: No I have not abandoned Aegis again (sorry Renny, you can stop booking the odds on how long it will be this time, lol); however, I may not get many chances to check or post for the next couple months. Classes start again on Aug. 19 and at that time I will once again have full access to High-Speed Wi-Fi. Until then please bear with me. I miss you guys quite a bit and shall keep you posted.

Any important, urgent, or otherwise priority posts which you feel as though I should take note of please forward the post or a message concerning it with a link to my email which gets checked automatically and notifies me whether I am activlly surfing the web or simply within wireless range. Thank You.

P.S.S. Thank you Ash I understand your situation completely and also your continuing diligence to respond and to keep my updated. I shall endeavor to do the same. As soon I see your post in F'Tallian I shall respond to the one in Draco with an OOC message about the continuance in another thread.

Yeah, in my experience its always this time of year and close to xmas when the site goes quiet and fickle. I don't think it can be helped, we all have our own projects. I've been slower than death on the posting front also, so don't feel so bad, Mychaels typist.
