Louis (Pronounced Looo-eeee) Farstrider is the youngest of 3 boys. His elder brothers are twins, and Louis is about 12 years younger than them.
When he was 4 his brothers left home to join the Guard Corps, and when he was old enough he followed in their footsteps. His name carried him on an expectation level that he could never match - he was not half the man his brothers were, although secretly he suspected it was because they had each other to push, always being competitive.
He graduated in the middle of his class with many of the trainers saying they expected to see more out of him.
He spent stints doing the usual mundane guard tasks before graduating to the Elite Guard rank. When his brother Mac was transfered to Cape Salarain, he chose Louis as one of the group to accompany him. Louis had always been closer to Mac than to Tiberious, his other brother.
Louis often had a smart mouth, which got him into trouble, as it did one day when he mentioned some classified information to the wrong person. Louis was suspended from duty while the Captain reviewed his future.
The Admiral of the fleet saw what had happened, and offered Louis a new chance at life and a career by joining his Marine Corps.
Louis jumped at the chance, finally breaking out of the shadows of his brothers and becoming his own man.
Tiberious took pity on Louis' lack of love life and set him up on a blind date with a girl he had recently sparred with. Erika and Louis hit it off at their first meeting and became firm friends.
