The start of a new day

~she yawned and opened her eyes as she noticed that Tib has got up before her again. More likely to meet with the duke. She got up out of bed. SHe walked over to her dresser and pulled on a black tank top and slid on some black leather pants. Brushing her hair up into a ponytail. She walked over to the fireplace and grabbed her boots and put them on tieing them tightly. She then grabbed some fingerless gloves and then took her bow and her mothers sword on her hip. She then walked out of there rooms and down to the training area. She set down her sword by her feet and pulled her bow a little target practice. She fired arrows at the target until she was out. She then set down her bow and moved to practice with the sword. She practice movements as she noticed a few of the recuits that tib had brought came threw and didn't make eye contact long with her. Seems what had happened with Tib the other day had got around... hell the whole tavern had seen what she did. Going off on him with her ablities. She practiced with her sword for quite a while. Then moved over to the dummy that was set up and she practiced some hand to hand she then kicked up some of the dirt around it. In an almost elegent dance she did she made the stoneskin appear and she just let loose on the dummy. she even pulled some fire off one of the torches and started it on fire then pulled water from the bucket close by putting it out. She ended her dance with a kick flip which sent the head flying in the sky.~

"Oh damn." ~she gracefully landed. Then shook off the stone skin and walked over to the head and placed it back on the dummy. She went over and pulled out all her arrows and placed them back with her bow. She wiped her brow. and stayed crouched down.

The day was colder than he was used to back in his home in the forest. The bearded man wore simple clothing consisting of a tunic and pants with a belt which contained a blue flower in it. He carried no weapons but in his arms was a leather bound book. He was crouched in some bushes watching the people train. The one with the long hair had caught his attention. She was not looking like the other people. They looked the same, but she was different. He shifted on his crouched legs. His stomach rumbled. He had only a passing idea of time, it was several moonups since his last meal.
This whole area was scary to him. There were too many people around this place. He needed somewhere quieter.

~she glanced around as her half-elf heard picked up a growling noise...she raised a eyebrow. Someone is hungry..she slowly moved and picked up her bow with and arrow and listened alittle more. Then with a swift movement she stood up and aimed the arrow in the direction of the noise.~

"Who is there? I heard you."

The one with the long hair was looking at him. Could it see him? The man with the beard had no idea. His arm clutched the book tighter to his chest. The people here had not mistreated him so far, they had mostly ignore him. He had no reason to fear the long haired one and no concept of the danger he was in. There were more of the noises these people seemed fond of making, but he moved forward brushing against a branch in the bush.

~she set down the bow and walked towards bushes. she tilted her head and dragged a foot in the dirt just in case.~

"Hello? Anyone there?"

It had come closer now and the manknown as Simon was curious. He stepped forward, emerging from his hiding place.
His hair and beard were brown and shoulder length and appeared to have been cropped recently by smeone with little or no skill. He still clutched the book tightly.
If this long haired one had a ver good sense of smell then it would be able to smell the aroma from the blue flower on his belt.
He stood in a half crouch, looking at the long haired one but giving no indication that he knew he was in danger. He glanced over to the other people who all looked the same and returned his gaze to the long haired one.
His mouth opened for a moment, opening and closing as if trying to say something before finally a small noise emerged.
"Hallo."
His accent was strange.

~she smiled at simon~

"Are you alright? you sound hungry."

~she noticed the aroma from the blue flower on his belt.~

" That is a pretty flower you have."

~she kept the smile on her face.~

His head tilted to one side as his eyes looked at the long haired one. He made no attempt to answer it but when he saw it look at the flower he drew back slightly.
"Enmu." he spoke softly. He looked over towards the keep. "Hullo." he said once again a little harder.

~she kept smiling as she was trying to figure this man out.~

"Hello am Jade." ~she put her hand on herself.~

The long haired one made a noise he recognized. A flash of familiarity flashed onto his face. His mouth worked once more before finally he was able to form the words he looked for.
"Si mon." He touched himself in imitation of her actions. His stomach rumbled once again but he ignored it and kept his gaze locked on her.
"Please too meat you." He took his time with the words, trying to remember how he had been taught to form them.

~she smiled again~

"Nice to meet you to Simon."

~she ran a hand thru her hair thinking.~

"Would you care for some food?"

~she pointed to the keep~

"We can go get you something from there if you want.. Or I could bring you something to eat."

~she kept her blue eyes on him as she wondered about him.~

The long haired one made some noises, a few of them he recognized for a moment. Then she flexed her hair. He shrunk back as she did so, clearly afraid of her, then took a step backwards towards the safety of the bushes.

~she watched him as she realized her movement alerted him alittle.~

she ml tib: "Tib hon um are you busy?"

~she stood still smiling and tried not to make sudden movements.~

"Its ok. Am not going to hurt you."

~He was busy somewhere, with something unspecific when he heard the mindlink. She didn't seem paniced or in danger but he stopped doing the thing he was doing and walked at a fast pace around the side of the keep. He was dressed in a pale shirt and leather pants, with a chainmail tabard over the top. His broadsword hung at his hip. The chainmail tabard was sleaveless with a hood that could be used to cover the back and top of the head. It hung down to his knees.~

~He walked around and spotted Jade in the distance near some bushes. He quickened his pace. She seemed to be with someone. His hand went to his broadsword as he approached.~

"What's this? Who are you?"

~He spoke in his no nonsense guard voice.~

~she heard Tib coming before he got there and turned to see him in full gear..~

"Geez Tib you didn't have to get in full gear. I just wanted you to bring some food for simon here."

~she stepped in between him and simon. hoping tib wasn't going to scare him off.~

The long haired one hadn't come any closer to him which was a good sign, but then the shiny one appeared. The bearded man shrunk down on the floor, squatting down and taking another step back. The no-hair made some noises in the same style as the people on the floating thing.
Simon had no words for most of the things he had experienced these last moon-ups. If only the elderly one was still around.
He glanced back into the shrubbery and took another step towards it, away from the long hair and the no hair.

"Tib hon go get one of the servants to bring some food here for simon Please. Your scaring him. and he is hungry or at least his stomach is saying he is." ~she smiled~

~His hand moved away from his sword as the man backed away. Then Jade spoke and gave him an order. He looked at her and decided her suggestion was best. He turned, spinning on his heels, and went to find a servant to yell at.~

~A few moments after tib left a servant came out with a bag with some food in it. Jade thanked her for the food and then turned back to simon.~

"Here is some food for you. I will set here by the bushes." ~she placed the bag down slowly and then backed up and sat on the ground keeping an eye on him.~

The soft scent of food wafted past him, but he remained crouching near the bushes. The no hair had gone now, and the long hair had backed away from the food. He carefully took a step forward, and the long hair remained where it was.
Two more steps brought him close enough to the bag with food, he could smell it strongly now, and he reached out and snatched it, keeping his eyes on the long haired one.
His fingernails ripped the bag open and he began stuffing the food into his face, not looking at what it was. He couldn't smell any poison that he knew of.
Finally he finished and dropped the bag to the floor, his eyes never leaving the long hair.
His mouth worked once again as he looked for the right words.
"Fank yoo" he finally said.

~she watched him eat the food. and smiled softly at him as she sat on the ground.~

"You're welcome Simon."

~she brushed aside some hair that had fallen in her face.~

"So simon where did you come from?"

He heard the words, but it was just noise to him. She didn't appear very threatening to him, but he continued to back away.
Just as long as the big one kept away.
