After the visit to Draco..

~Riding her horse to the camp with another horse behind her.. she had the stable boy cover him up so her father would not see until she wanted him to. She hopped off her horse and tied him a tree nearby as she took the mystery horse with the supplies closer to the camp as she unloaded the supplies. then she stood by the horse.~

~she called for her father~

"Father I have a surprise for you!"

Artimus himself was standing near the cave, enjoying the feeling of the sun beating down on his skin. He had his shirt off, but his trousers on, his sword belt firmly attached. The sword today hung on his left hand side - not the usual right hand - and he was flicking the sword hilt with his left hand, out of the scabbard, then twisting his left hand to catch the sword and spin it round into a fighting stance, in one quick fluid movement.
He dropped into a defensive posture, then relaxed, put the sword back in and did it all again.

He smiled to himself as he realized each draw was getting quicker. Anyone watching might have wondered why anyone would need to go to such trouble of having the sword hang from the sam side as they draw from. But no one was watching, so no one asked.

His ears picked up the sound of someone approaching, and he flicked the sword into the air one last time, spinning around as he caught it, to face whoever it was approaching.

He saw who it was and re-sheathed his sword. Time to practice it on the move.

He took a few steps forward then did the move again as he walked. He caught the sword yet again but didn't go into the defensive pose. he just re-sheathed it and it did once again.

Surprise? I don't like surprised. He saw the horse ladened with supplies. Oh dear Gods, what had she brought? He hoped she wasn't going to try and decorate the cave in curtains and fabrics. A nice fine tea he could tolerate, but he drew the line at matching cups and saucers.

He didn't give the horse a second glance, eyeing the bags with more interest.

~she shook her head as she noticed him more interested in what was in the bags. she then pulled off the covering on the horse and just let he stand there to see how long it would take.~

"Really dad I didn't get girly stuff for the cave...Just canvas,rope, fishing line and a few other things."

~she stood there petting the horse.~

He walked over to take the bags off the horse. This wasn't the same horse she'd had earlier. Why had she changed? Was it too tired going from Draco to Grorr to here?
He glanced over at the horse as it nudged him with it's head.

Wait.. Could that be...

He looked again. The face was a little older, the sides a little tubbier, but it was!

Azure? A large smile broke out on his face.
You found him!

He pulled his daughter in for hug.

~she laughed and hugged her dad back~

"I sent for him days ago. I told you mom had him hidden just in case you came back."

~she walked over and grabbed artimis (her horse) and tied him closer.~

"So now we both have our horses. *she fed him an apple. and handed her father an apple* does he like apples?"

He patted his horse's neck, happy to see him again.

Sorry I had to leave you behind, but the boat wasn't equipped for you.

He glanced over at Jade.
Yes, he likes Apples.

He ran his hands down the horses legs, then inspected his mouth and teeth.
You've been well cared for, although not excercised as much as I would have liked. Not that he could talk. He hadn't look after himself much better.

Now, what she we do today? His tone didn't imply if he was talking to the horse, or his daughter.

~she smiled at her dad and watches as he checks over the horse.~

"Are you talking to me or the horse...?"

~she chuckled petting artimus~

He flicks his eyes over to her, a small playful grin on his face, and he remains stroking the side of the horses neck.
Ahhhh, she doesn't know. Shall we tell her?

He grins again.

Yes, I was meaning you. What do you want to do?

~she smiled~

"A ride on the horses? and then some fighting practice?"

I might have to take it easy on Azure for a while, but we can take a ride out somewhere. Is there anywhere you haven't seen yet?
He idly wondered what had become of Marloc since Rensain had left, but that might be pushing it a bit far on his first ride on Azure again.

"Could we go see the cape? Since it was a place you and mom have been. I have yet to see it."

~she looks to her father.~

He nods and smiles.
The Cape it is. I just need to get a few things first. Oh, and make sure you've got at least a sword. Things can get rough in that town.

He headed off intot he cave to put a shirt on, and knife in his boots, then walked back, flicking his sword once again left-handedly into the air and catching it.

~she nodded and walked over to the bags pulling out her sword and tying it around her back~

"Show off." ~she grinned and laughed~

~she checks over her horse and adjust her saddle. checking her daggers in her boots. and gets up on her horse.~

He just gave her that cocky grin, and mounted Azure, feeling that familiar feeling beneath him once again.
Azure gave a small walk in a tight circle, as if flexing his muscles ready for the trek.
Artimus steadied the horse, then looked back at Jade, making sure she was ready.

There is a path to the west of here, which branches off to one leading north. We'll take that route. Once we're out of the forest we have to go over brushland for a short time before we hit the main road between Salarain and Meriddia.

He had told her the route on the off chance they got separated. He waited till she nodded back, then simply shouted Charge! and bolted off on Azure, to the west.

"Aye Father."

~as he yelled charge she put artimis into action and follow to the west.~
