What really happened to Jade???

A quick recap... Little Jade and Art have made there way to the cape even tho Tiberious told them he didn't want to see them there so... Little jade and art went just to make sure he didn't see them. Art promised little jade paints and her mom to watch over her so she can paint picture for every one while art does the sneakyness to see what he can find out from little jades clues and avoid tib and his recruits....we now join in our regularly scheduled rp... enjoy the madness.

Art: Not just the things I listed, ANYTHING. You can ONLY paint on paper. And if you run out paper, then...you stop painting. And yes, you can have a candy or two.

He guided Azure through the gate, picked Jade up and dismounted carefully, putting her down.

Don't run off now. he said to her as he sorted the horse out.

~she crossed her fingers behind her back~

"Yesh onlys papers. and all the candies." ~she started spinning in circles to make herself dizzy as she fell on the ground and giggled. Still dizzy she tried to get up and walk and fell again and laughed.~

"Am soooo dizzy."

He sighed.

Alright. Paper and candles.

He finished stabling the horse and took Jade with him to a shop, where he purchased a few things and then to a tavern, asking the owner if he can hire a room for a few hours. Then he went inside with Jade and handed her the pendant from around his neck.

Call you mother if you get lonely. And remember, do not leave this room. I'll be back soon.

H kissed her on the forehead and left.

~she took the pendent and put around her neck.~

~she nodded and took the papers and paint over to the floor and set them down and took a candy and put it in her mouth and made busy with the paints. As she hummed to herself as she started to paint her daddy a picture of unicorns and pixies. She giggled as she made them and she carefully colored them in. After a while she got up and walked around the room and looked in the mirror that was there making faces at herself. She then got bored with that and went over to the bed and pulled off the blanket and tied it as a cape on her. As she started to play princess. She walked over to one of the windows and looked out for a little bit. Wondering if Tib had made it into town. She then smiled that trade mark smile and walked over and started on Tibs picture. After some time she finished it up and she had got paint on her face and hands. She was laying on the floor. Candy still in her mouth. She started to paint her mommy a picture. Taking her time. Humming kicking her legs the blanket still tied around her.

After leaving Jade, and knowing she would be safe with Indis looking after her, he double backed on his own trail and headed indirectly for Mac's house.
He knew he had to be careful, so he kept a slow pace which would help him identify anyone who was following him, as well as make sure he didn't walk into any traps.

He reached the house and looked over at it. It looked like someone was home at least. He moved around the back of the house and stood by the wall next to the door, listening.

~moved across the room tightening her gloves then she was putting her up in a ponytail.~

~she looked over at louis~

"Look good?" ~she had on her half shirt black leather shirt on and black leather pants and black boots. She did a couple of punching swings and then smiled and stood up.~


"So what are the plans for the day?" ~she put a hand on her hip and then paced alittle.~

"You always look good." He smiled at her as he spoke. "I want to head over to the naval yard and check up on a few things. maybe see if any interesting reports have come in."
He himself was wearing a pair of casual pants, knee length boots and a white shirt.
"See if there has been any news of any incoming boats." he continued. He grabbed a coat from the stand near the door.
"I'll be back later." He almost opened the front door, but walked back to kiss her.

~she kissed him back and smiled as he left~

"Alright. I will stay here for a bit but I may go to the market and see what i can find."

~she watched as he left she moved towards the kitchen~

Artimus listened, hearing talking inside, then he heard the other door open and close. That meant only one in there now. He wouldn't have a better time.
His hand reached for the door knob and turning it. The door opened and Artimus stepped through quickly, his left hand on his rapier.

~she heard the door open and came back around~

"Did you forget..." ~she stopped in her tracks.~

"Artimus Morningstar." ~she started to glare at him~

"The bastard himself."

Oh this was almost perfect. He owed her one for what she did to Jade last time they were here.

Hello... What WAS her name? Got any potato sacks you don't need any more?
He would know by her reaction if she had had anything to do with what just happened to Jade.

~she raised an eyebrow~

"Of course we do... you should see what louis can do with potatoes. He is a master with the knife."

~she kept her eyes on him.~

"So what brings you to our humble abode?"

The reaction was curious. She didn't react like he would have expected if she had been responsible. That meant he was looking in the wrong place. He felt himself frown as he realised this.

I.. was in the neighbourhood and thought I'd see if you had any potato sacks. I need them for... moving a few things around the city.

He was watching her closely. Of course, if she was innocent she would have no idea what he was rambling on about, and think him mad. A plan started to form.

And it's such a lovely day for moving things around. Tell me, have you seen the pixies?

~she grinned~

"Sacks to move...Thought you would need them to haul some toys." ~a smirk played across her lips.~

~ml to louis~ "Honey we have a visitor."

Ah, a small breakthough... He folded his arms across his chest.

And what use would I have for toys?

~He was half way to the naval yard when he got the ML.~

"Who is it?"

~It didn't matter who it was, for her to contact him like this meant it was important. He turned and headed back at a jog.~

~she watched him~

"Oh I don't know...for your daughter maybe. Or have you left her behind like you did her mother. Maybe sold her for a few bottles of whiskey? or some two bit ho around here."

~she had known about his past around here. Louis had filled her in on everything so they knew how to handle him when they were face to face with him.~

~ml to louis~ "Your favorite ex-captain."

Artimus took a step forward and swung his right fist towards her face. He could take that kind of talk from some people, but not some woman whose name he didn't even know.

~she got the punch right in her nose as she stepped back and shook her head and refocused.~

"Oh is that how you want to play." ~she swung a right crossed his head. ~

Artimus brought his left hand up to block her attack, and followed through with a jab from his right hand, aiming for her left hand side.

~She was sitting there starting a new picture and she felt a wave of anger hit her. Oh man... she thought. as she started painting angry scary pictures. she had to channel it some where so that is what she chose to do hoping she would have enough paper.~

~she wondered if she should contact her mother but thought not to.~

He threw the front door open and looked towards the kitchen, hearing noises coming from there. He threw his coat down and ran in, stopping by the door. Artimus had his back to him, and possibly didn't know he was there. He was fighting Erika. Louis could almost have laughed. Maybe Morningstar didn't know Erika's speciality was unarmed combat.

~she took the hit to the side and made a slight sound as she kicked at his left side with her knee to his ribs~

He went to block the move, but missed. She was too damn fast for him. The knee caught him and he staggered slightly. He fumbled for her leg, trying to grab it while it was in range.

He moved forward while he knew he hadn't been detected and threw a punch to the back of Art's head.

~she stepped back as she saw louis and kept her hands up in defence. As she waited to see if it landed and put art out. She was ready to throw another punch if need be.~
