Oh, this should be good. Personality advice from the man voted most interesting personality three years running.

I give in. What?

~A small smile broke out on his face~

"You always have to have the last word."

~he kept his eyes on the path ahead as they broke off from the main road and started heading across country.~

It was Artimus's turn to give a sideways look.

No I don't.

"Yes you do. You just did it, there. Always the last word. Can't let anyone else take the last moment away."

Artimus frowned slightly.

Yes I can. I don't always have to have the last word.

"And again. As a wise man once said 'Hear you nothing that I say'?"

"I would if you gave me a chance."

"You're clearly not going to let me have it."

~He let out a small cry of despair.~

That wasn't a word. it doesn't count.

He turned his head slightly to look at him, a small smile creeping onto his face.

~From the corner of his eye he saw him turn his head, so Tiberious turned his too. There was a very small smile on his lips too. No that he would admit it, but he had missed Artimus.~

"Just.. back down this once."

He saw that smile and knew they had crossed a bridge; reached a new level of understanding. That made him feel one hell of a lot better.
