A boy, soaked to the skin would clutch the note tightly and hand it to Rensain. He would wait a moment while it was read, his eyes down cast and trembling, this was Lord Rensain, and the rumors of his powers were whispered amoung the peoples of the city.

" My dear Rensain,

I have bought the building and it has been paid in full. I hold the deed. If you get a few moments in your day I shall be here till a hour before sunset. I would very much like to show you so that when I am finished with it all you can see how transformed it was. For the messenger, will you please pay him a gold piece, I told him if he got this to you in good time that you would pay him well.

I am two blocks off of the main market street in a old set of office buildings of a money counter. I hope to see you soon

Maire"

It was hard to tell but Rensain knowing Maire would discern that she was very excited for acquistion....

{Taking the note promptly from the boy in question, Rensain without thought allowed a gold coin to appear within the palm of his hand. Flipping it over, he planted it firmly into the hand of the messenger and gestured for him to wait elsewhere.

He disregarded the fact that the boy was soaking wet, the message within far too important to wait. Turning his back, Rensain narrowed his eyes curiously as he delicately unfolded the paper. Immidately, seeing Maire's script raised a brow as he began to read. It caused a secret smile as he made a mental note to go and visit his lady love.

Moving to his desk, Rensain penned his reply.}

My dear wife,

It pleases me that your transaction moved along smoothly. I hold intentions to visit shortly, preferably before sunset. Matters at the palace continue to be demanding but for you, I shall make time regardless.

Should you need additional funds to aid your project, my offer still remains.

Yours,

Rensain

{He had deliberately kept his message brief, and he knew Maire would understand this. Folding the paper up Rensain turned back to the messenger and nodded his dismissal.}
