My dear Rensain,

I have finally finished that which the priestess has required of me. I was assured that my time is my own at this time having fulfilled my oaths to the temple. I have commendered passage back to Aegis and should be returning soon though that depends of course on the weather.

I have missed you and Marcus and must say that my last weeks at the temple have been extremely difficult. I am sure that Marcus is on his way to being a young man and much like his father which is a good thing for him but possibly a bad thing for Aegis. Two of you would cause much conflict I am afraid.

I am assuming this letter will reach you before I do. Tell Marcus I have a gift for him. He may not be a child really but even a young man likes gifts. I am shaking as I write this as I am very happy to be coming home.

My Sweet Lady Maire,

I am glad that you were able to finish your studies at the temple, no doubt it has allowed your mind better understanding within your faith.

It has, however, been too long since we have been able to talk and I would like the opportunity to do so. Please make your way to my castle, but note that you'll not find it in Marloc, but in the Thunderlands instead. We have plenty to discuss.

Unfortunately I bare bad news with regards to Marcus. I had ordered that he spend time with his betrothed, Claudia in Marloc. At that time King Jaric of Aurora ordered for them and Xavier to go to Icehold. I did not give my permission for this, but they all left together. Now, with much distress I find that Marcus is not in Icehold either. Rest assured, his safety is of my utmost importance and I have reached out with my spy network in order to track him down.

We shall speak further of this upon your arrival.
