The small boat was carefully guided into the dock by expert hands. The sole occupant tethered the boat up then paid the harbour-master after disembarking.
Once on the shore he pulled back his hood and sniffed the air.
His blonde, once short hair was now almost shoulder length, although still short on top, and a small growth of beard was on his chin. He walked up and down the dockside slowly, taking in all the changes that had occurred since he was last here, and wondered just why in the nine hells had he returned here.
Bah, he knew the answer deep down. Because this was his home. He'd been raised here even if he hadn't actually been born on the island. It was in his blood now.
What he needed to do right now though was to find information about the various goings-on since his departure. He needed information. He headed for a tavern where he purchased a drink and sat in the corner, listening to any gossip, and thinking about his next move.
Of course the most obvious thing to do would be to go to Merridia; but he wanted to avoid that. The last person he wanted to see was
her.
He also needed to find Indy; to try and patch things up with her. He'd left so abruptly he wasn't sure she would want to know him any more. That should be a priority, but if she was still working for
her, then it would be risky.
So, Merridia was out for the moment. Draco held too much emotion right now to think about going to. He'd never be welcome at Marloc if everything was still the same; and if everything was still the same then Del Fuaco was out as an option too. That left here and Grorr.
His mind was made up. he drank up and sat and listened for a short time.
