Bring Art to the healers..

~she smiled as he got up and watch him closely her eyes following him.~

"Mornin Love."

~she looked out the window.~

"I hope she is doing well."

He walked back to the bed, clearly restless already.

Just as long as she keeps out of trouble. His voice held concern for her, you could tell he loved his daughter, and there was also a small pang of something else in his tone. Regret.

~indis watched him come back to the bed~

"Whats bugging you hon? Anything you want to talk about?" ~she curled up to him~

He looked at his wife.

Wrong? No, there's nothing wrong. He paused, then carried.
Well, apart from worrying about Jade. And feeling so useless with this
He waved his left arm around slightly and sighed. The waiting is the worst thing.

~she smiled~

"You don't know how happy it makes me that you are taking to her so much. I was always worried that you might not...but that is when I still thought you would be with..." ~she drifted off for a moment.~

"But as for your arm they said another day or so and it will be almost as good as it was. Well we could leave here and head to the camp or anywhere you want to. cause where ever you go I go. Unless you send me away."

Send you away? Why would I want to do that?

He thought about that for a moment.
There were things he did that he prefered no one else knew about. But she was now his wife, would she understand if he admitted it all to her?

He put on a serious voice.
Indis. You know how I am. There are things I have to do that... he shook his head.
No, I don't NEED to do these things any more... Old habits die hard I guess...

He trailed off, his mind had suddenly moved into overdrive, working out several different things that he could do with this new ability.

~she chuckled alittle~

"I always knew and know there are things you do it was part of your old job. I doubt you could do anything that would bother me. Its not like there are things that I myself had to do sometimes that... were like that too.. but sometimes you have to do what you need to.. to get the job done." ~she ran her hand along the side of his face. and smiled~

"And I told you years ago you can trust me and tell anything and everthing and I will not love you any less or think of you differently."

So, how do I send you away? Touch the pendant and think of you again, or... what?
He smiled to her.
Not that I want to, but I need to know, because I never know when I'll need to call you back again... He trailed off yet again, still deep in thought.

I want to try something. I want to send you back to the library for a few minutes, and when I bring you back, see if you can bring a book back with you.

~she raised an eyebrow at him~

"Touch the pendant and think return."

~she rolled her eyes alittle~

"what book?"

He stood up and turned to face her, that cocky grin showing on his face once again.

What book doesn't matter. Just.. any book. I'll give you 2 minutes to find one. He winked to her and moved his hand to the pendant.

Love you. I'll miss you. and thought "Go away"

~she phased out of the room and rematerialize at the library.~

"any book." ~she muttered. she looked at the shelves quickly.~

~stopping on a book about " How to communicate with the dead." she chuckled.~


and waited.

He watched her vanish, feeling a pang in his heart. He paced the room, wondering if this was going to work. If it did, it could open up all possibilities for him.
Him? For THEM; they - all three of them - were part of a team now. Him, Indis and Jade. Of course he and Jade could communicate via Mindlink, but it seemed Indis couldn't get it. That is what had woken Jade up earlier.
He... THEY would have to work on that at another time. For now, let him worry about the book.

How much time had elapsed already? Was it long enough yet?

He touched the pendant.
"Indis?" he thought.

~she held tight to the book as she felt the pull back to the pendent~

~a mist quick came in as she materialize in front of him book in hand.~

"Here is your book you wanted..." ~she grinned at the title.~

~she sat on the bed and flickered alittle but was fine in no time.~

He smiled as she appeared, anxious to see if the book had turned up.
He took it off her, not even looking at it as he placed it on the table and moved to hug her.

You realise what this means? It means... You can bring things from the library.

He paused to let that idea sink in, grinning with that cocky grin.

I may have to start leaving a stockpile of weapons and equipment in the library...

"So like the secret rooms under the library we could put weapons and things in."

~she was where he was going with it.~

"That could work."

He raised an eyebrow, and smiled that famous smile of his.

Weapons.... I hadn't thought of that. I was thinking we could start a mobile catering business. Me, you and Jade. Me and Jade can visit people and take their orders. We get a table and some food stuff set up in the library, then I can call you over to wherever we are, tell you what we need making, send you back so you can make it, then bring you over when it's made. We could make a fortune!

He winked at her, knowing how mad that would make her.

Although we could go with your slightly more mundane suggestion of using you to drag our stuff around for us.

He knew he'd pay for these comments later, his wife wasn't someone you said such things to and not expect retaliation, but he didn't care at the moment. Yes he was still worried about Jade, but there was nothing he could do for her if she did get in trouble. Besides, it was only a simple shopping trip. How much trouble could SHE find? Just as long as she kept the boots. And didn't start having funny thoughts about the manacles....

~she looked at him that damn smile of his.~

"You know. We have to watch tho if you ever loose that pendant and locket. Am a good as gone."

~she looked serious for a moment~

"Or if someone else get ahold of it..."

~after a moment she shook her head~

"Anyway enough of that get over her and kiss me so I can distract you from your boredom."

~she gave him a sexy smile~

He moved over, kissed her and lay in her embrace.

I'm not bored, I've got too much to do!
Although he was wrapped in her arms, you could tell his mind was too busy elsewhere.

So, the pendant would work for anyone? Just touch the gem and think of you? Does it have to be my hand, or will any contact on skin work? What if I turned the pendant round so it was always touching skin...

His mind was racing once again, possibilities, decisions, thoughts all flying in from everywhere.
He was glad he was never unfaithful. Imagine if he was lying in another womans bed and thought of her...

He knocked the guilty look off his face.

Can you at least go back voluntarily, if someone was to get hold of the pendant and tried to call you? Could you escape back to the library?

So many questions. This whole situation was new to him. Probably new to her too. Did she even know the answers to his questions?

Are you confined to a small area wherever the pendant is? If I took the pendant off now, left it on the table here and walked out, you couldn't follow?

He wasn't trying to sound mean, but his voice had that serious edge to is again.

We could go somewhere, I could hide the pendant, you could stay invisible and watch the location.

Ever the guard was Artimus M Morningstar. Be-Prepared WAS his middle name...

~she shook her head knowing what he was doing he was in go mode. and nothing would stop it now.~

"yes it would work for anyone. just need to touch it and think of me. No it doesn't have to be your hand. but skin contact."

~she noticed his gulity look and then ran hand down his chest as more questions came.~

"No I have to be sent away."

"its not a real small area. but we need to test it out. if you took the pendant off I could follow to a point and then if i went to far and I would phase out back to the pendant. and yes we could hide the pendant and I can watch."

~she moved and sat on the edge of the bed.~

~she ran her hand thru her hair. As she thought.~

"I don't even know if I remember how to fight its been so long." ~she was looking at the floor.~ " I haven't picked up a sword years. Since before I died."

He sat on the bed, rubbing the bridge of his nose with his fingers and listening to her replies to his questions. He should have pause between questions to let her answer properly.

He looked up as she mentioned fighting.

So I need to train you as well as Jade?
He fell back on the bed, gazing at the ceiling, in thought. His stomache rumbled but he didn't seem to notice.

No, her training would be easier. She knew how to fight, she just had to be taught to remember. That would be easier at least.

He idily wondered what would happen if he was to throw the pendant out of the window, but said nothing.
He didn't want her to leave, but he knew there were times he would. And times when she would want to leave him, but would she ever say anything?

You know, if you ever tire of being around me, you only need to say.

~she turned and looked at him~

"I haven't seen you and from you in years. and now your back. I was thinking we had a lot of time to make up. I use to dream about being back in your arms. I almost stopped believeing you would come back. " ~she flickered a moment~

"I was even starting to start to like someone else after all that time. You were always there and never would have left my heart..." ~looked at the wall for a moment.~

"If I had my way... I would never leave your side ever."

~she cleared her throat~

"Now as for training I will just need a refresher run."

~she stood up and turned to him~

"We need to get you some food."

He moved his head a little, he had still been gazing at the ceiling, but now he looked at her.

I know, he said in reply to her not wanting to leave him and I don't want you to leave. But I know I can be very annoying to be around. So if you ever feel the need to knock my head off or something but don't want to hurt me, just tell me you want to leave. I can give you some time to cool off before bringing you back.

His stomache rumbled again, as she spoke of food.

I better put some trousers on and order something.

He got off the bed and put his legs in his trousers, pulling them up. Then starte stuggling with fastening them again. He turned to look at Indis.

I could do with some help again, if you're not too mad at me...

He knew she had a wicked sense of humour, and if he annoyed her too much she might refuse to help him and make him go downstairs with just a blanket wrapped around him...

~she chuckled~

"Annoying but yet cute. and of course your trademark smile that makes me melt. If I wanted to knock your head off you know I still could... being a ghost I can take a swing and make it just go thru you."

~she stood up and moved over to him~

"Does my husband need help with his pants?" ~she gave him a half grin.~

He stared at her, loving the playful look in her eyes. He put his hand ntoo the pendant, avoiding touching the gem.

Does the Elf wish to leave? His eyes sparkled for a moment, then he realised if he did that, he would have no way of doing his trousers up.

~she chuckled~

"Well My Captain shall have help then. " ~she help fasten his trousers.~

"Anything else my love?" ~she smiled and gave him a kiss~
